Konami Digital Entertainment has just announced that there will be a collaboration between Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links and Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, its anime/manga counterpart on 28 September 2021.
Among other things, the collaboration will boast new cards, new missions, new skills and new archetypes. Joining the roster of playable characters will be the likes of Zuzu, Gong, Sylvio and Yuya. As part of the update, players will have access to Pendulum Summons, which allows users to summon several monsters all at once. The idea of the new mechanic is to help players turn the tide of a difficult battle. More importantly of course, are the various collaboration rewards, which include Ultra Rare Tickets, Super Rare Tickets, gems and a skill ticket. These you get simply by logging in the game throughout the duration of the campaign.
Since the game launched, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has garnered more than 140mn downloads worldwide, where players had amassed over 65bn cards across 6bn duels. That is quite the achievement indeed, and it is great that the developer is showing their gratitude through appropriate rewards. The game is of course, free to play, and is available for the Android and iOS platforms. For more information on the game, be sure to drop by the official website for the latest.
