BlazBlue Alternative Dark War and Granblue Fantasy collaboration live in September

The previously announced BlazBlue Alternative Dark War and Granblue Fantasy collaboration event will be happening soon in the former game come 30 September 2021. While some may have expected the collab to go both ways simultaneously, it’s currently only for BBDW. Joining Djeeta will be the Eternals’ Tweyen and the ever popular Narmaya as guest characters for the event.

Ahead of the collab event going live, BlazBlue Alternative Dark War will be having log in bonus rewards to entice any Granblue Fantasy players in, surely. The usual offering of premium currency and materials will be obtainable starting today until 30 September 2021, 12:59 JST. A livestream event will be held on 27 September 2021, 20:00 JST to provide more details regarding the collab. You can tune in on Youtube.

The livestream will likely inform the method of acquiring the guest characters, with presumably one of them being an event reward and the rest from gacha with any accompanying Grimoires to go with.

If you want to try out these characters in a fighting game, Djeeta and Narmaya are both playable in Granblue Fantasy: Versus as DLC characters, a game Cygames co-developed with ARC SYSTEM WORKS. Whether or not Tweyen will eventually make it into the roster, stay tuned to find out. For what it’s worth, Vira has already been teased to arrive in December 2021 to GBVS.
