The Pegasus Dream Tour will be welcoming J SOUL BROTHERS III , who will be having a live virtual concert in the game on September 19th. You can download the game now on Android and iOS and get started preparing for the virtual concert, as well as earn cool emotes and avatar items.
This event is the fourth series of the Avatar GALA Party in The Pegasus Dream Tour, which game developer JP Games says aims to “bring positivity to the world”.
Between now and September 18th, anyone can log in to The Pegasus Dream Tour- the official game of the International Paralympic Committee- and use Doraemon’s tool to build the stage for the event via a new tapping minigame.
Upon completing the stage, you’ll be rewarded with GALA Points and experience points.
Better still, just like a real concert, players can stand a chance to earn the best seats in the house- getting to watch the live virtual show nearer to the stage so they can see J SOUL BROTHERS III perform up close in The Pegasus Dream Tour.
“We’ve decided to take on a new challenge: role-playing live. It’s going to be a different kind of entertainment from the live shows we usually do. We think it will be great entertainment! We would like to make para-sports more exciting through virtual live performances. See you in Pegasus City, where people from all over the world gather,” J SOUL BROTHERS III commented.
In the time-limited item shop, the original costumes are available for purchase such as the Napoleon-style costumes worn by the avatars of the group members in live performances, as well as MA-1s costumes created in collaboration with artists.
Players can take part in the live performance with their avatar “Mine”, wearing their favorite costumes, using emotes to dance to the famous “RYUSEI” Running Man. They can also use the original J SOUL BROTHERS III stamps to call and respond to the songs during the live performance.
A snap event is currently being held until September 19 where players will receive eight rare and random snapshots of their avatar “Mine” with each member of the group.
The Pegasus Dream Tour is a game officially licensed by the International Paralympic Committee, as well as developed by JP Games- the studio founded by Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy XV and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. It’s available in both Japanese and English for both Android and iOS
The game celebrates para-athletes, featuring several well-known ones in the game such as Patrick Andersen (Wheelchair basketball) and Silvio Vela (Blind soccer). You can also read our interview with JP Games’ Tomohiro Hasegawa here.
