A player on Facebook has shared a screenshot of an email from Bandai Namco Entertainment about receiving a complimentary digital code for Tales of Arise as their Collector’s Edition order has been delayed. The visible part of the email reads as follows:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your purchase of Tales of Arise Collector’s Edition on Xbox. As we had previously shared, some of our carriers are facing unprecedented delivery delays. At this time, unfortunately we regret to inform you that your order has been delayed.
While this situation is outside of our control, your satisfaction with our service is extremely important to us and we wanted to make sure that you had the opportunity to play the game on Day 1. Please find below a complimentary Xbox digital code of Tales of Arise so that you can start playing the game immediately while waiting for your delivery.
We anticipate that all Collector’s Edition orders will be released within the next 10 days from our fulfillment center. If you have not received a shipping notification for your Collector’s Edition by Monday, September 20th, please reach out to our customer service team.
Again, please accept our sincere apologies for this delay and thank you for your support. We hope that you enjoy the game and the Collector’s Edition when it arrives!

Final Fantasy VII Remake had attempted to do something similar where they shipped out physical copies early to pre-empt these problems. Should your copy too have ended up being delayed, perhaps you should check your email as well. Enjoy Tales of Arise, we certainly did.
