Pokemon Unite has announced the mobile release for the title, letting you play with your friends who are on the Nintendo Switch version.
In today’s Pokemon Unite livestream, they announced that the mobile version would release on September 22nd, with the title entering pre-registration now.
The Pokemon Company has announced two pre-registration goals, with fans getting a Pikachu Unite License at 2.5 million pre-registrations, as well as a special festive skin for Pikachu at 5 million.
They also announced that Pokemon Unite would feature cross-progression, letting you link your account and move progress between the mobile and Switch versions of the game. The Pokemon Company reminded Switch players to claim their free Zeraora, which would be usable on both versions of the game.
Aside from that, they also announced two more Pokemon coming to the game, Mamoswine and Sylveon. No dates have been given for the release of these characters, or where they fall in the release order- whether or not they’d be after the already-announced Blastoise, or continue to push the water starter further back down the release schedule.
Pokemon Unite released on Nintendo Switch in July, promising a release for phones at a later date despite the fact the game was beta tested on phones.
