Opening its doors at Atre Akihabara, the Hololive Summer Festival will run from August 1st to 15th and debut new art of all the different Hololive Generations of Vtubers in the form of wall scrolls.
One selling point for sentimental fans is that the 4th Generation wall scroll even includes the recently-graduated Kiryu Coco, who also appears in the marketing for the pop up store outside Akihabara Station.
Aside from that it looks like the store will also be selling another Hololive treasure- the special edition Pekora Plum Wine, the could previously only be bought online.
Even though the event is called the Hololive Summer Festival, it’s not just a celebration of Hololive. The store also stocks merchandise for Holostars, the male offshoot of the Vtuber company, with the Holostars getting their own T-shirt and wall scrolls.
The merchandise sold is only going to be available at the Hololive Pop Up Store, so overseas fans look like they won’t be able to get their hands on the merchandise without help from the community.
This all seems to be part of a big push from Hololive, from the Sakura Miko Elite Cafe, the newly updated Hololy AR App to new projects like the horror-themed Hololive ERROR. Considering how much the company has grown in the past year, it makes sense that they’d expand as much as they are with the multitude of new projects.
