PureArts has announced that their 1/7 scale Pontiff Sulyvahn figure from Dark Souls 3 is now available for preorder, adding the terrifying leader of the Church of the Deep to your collection.
The figure is officially licensed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, and is the second one produced by the company.
The Pontiff Sulyvahn figure comes in two flavors, a Deluxe and Standard Edition. The Deluxe edition pays homage to the second phase of the character’s bossfight from Dark Souls 3, where it summons a shadow clone behind it to fight alongside the Pontiff.
The deluxe version is available for USD 1620 (RM6836.40), while the Standard Edition can be bought for USD 809 (3413.90).
According to PureArts, you can expect the statue to ship in Q3 of 2022.
Regardless of which version you get, both include LED integration for the character’s two sword, although the deluxe edition extends the LED integration to the Pontiff’s double, as well.
This isn’t the first time PureArts have produced premium statues based off of Dark Souls 3, the company had also made one for Yhorm The Giant, one of the game’s major bossfights.
Pontiff Sulyvahn Info
Pontiff Sulyvahn is one of the major villains of Dark Souls 3, being behind most of the happenings in the world as you travel through it to return the Lords of Cinder to their thrones.
Among them he’s the figure behind three of the bosses in the game, namely Vordt of the Boreal Valley, Dancer of the Boreal Valley and Aldrich, Saint of the Deep.
The Pontiff himself is the boss of the Irythyll area, where you’ll need to defeat him to access Anor Londo, the city from Dark Souls 1.
