Genshin Impact: Serenitea Pot Gardening detailed

The Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact is getting a gardening system, and details have been revealed through the official forums. To unlock gardening in your Serenitea Pot, you will need to fulfill a few criteria:

• Complete World Quest, The Art of Horticulture
  • Requires Reputation Level 3 in Inazuma
  • Obtain Naku Weed from Madarame Hyakubei

On completing the quest, you’ll receive the Seed Dispensary gadget from Madame Ping. Equip the Seed Dispensary when you gather plants, e.g. picking a Sweet Flower with the Seed Dispensary equipped will give you both the Sweet Flower, and a Sweet Flower Seed. You can then later purchase the seeds from plants you’ve previously gathered in the new Creatures of the Realm section of the Realm Depot. The image provided indicates you’ll be able to purchase a maximum of 5 per type.

Once you have the seeds, you need to purchase fields from the Riches of the Realm category in the Realm Depot. Three different fields grow different plants.

Fields will be marked on the mini map. You can check how many idle fields there are, and what plants you can plant in them. You’ll be able to check the growth time once planted. Growing plants may also be cleared out, which will not return seeds. The post doesn’t specify if you’ll be able to obtain seeds from plants grown in your Realm fields.
