RuneScape is one of those games that have stood the test of time, and for the sake of modern gamers, it will be coming for the mobile platforms very soon. According to developer Jagex, there will be two versions of RuneScape making its way to mobile, with the first being the “Old School” version, while the other is a “mobile client for RuneScape“.
The mobile client for RuneScape is said not to be a separate version of the still popular MMORPG, as it will instead have its interfaces optimised for mobile, with persistent cross-platform play with the desktop version being the main draw. From all we know, the Old School version is coming late 2017 while its mobile client will only be available next year.
