Once you clear stage 3-7 of the main story in Alchemy Stars, you will be able to unlock Secret Territory. This guide will cover the basics of the game mode, how it works and recommended relics.
WHAT ARE SECRET TERRITORIES?
In Alchemy Stars, Aurorians have fixed stats and have individual HP bars in Secret Territory. It allows you to use Aurorians you haven’t raised for your main team(s), so consider this partially a testing ground. HP and skill cooldowns will carry over across battles. There are only five floors total, so you only have a finite amount of Text Fragments you can earn per season. Seasons, as well as the Secret Store offerings, reset weekly.
This mode also utilizes its own “energy”, dubbed MS. Each round you take consumes 1 MS by default, and can be restored through the Exploration room in your Colossus. Any remaining MS by the end of the season will be converted into Text Fragments.
SECRET STORE
The biggest offering you can get here will be the 2 Star Flares, which will cost 2000 Text Fragments, or the Recharger Packs at 2000 Text Fragments each. Additionally, you can obtain more furniture, as well as gifts for Aurorians. You’d probably want to prioritize the Star Flares and the Recharger Packs before gifts or furniture depending on your needs.
SECRET TERRITORY NODES
Once you get into the game mode proper, you’ll be given options to explore various nodes. There will be basically:
General Area
Regular Eclipsites.
Dangerous Area
Will have various modifiers filled with Elite Eclipsites. These modifiers can also apply in Lethal Areas.
Lumina Spring
Restore 50% HP for 2 random Aurorians or revive 1 random Aurorian. Both options also recover default 5 MS. Relics can boost the spring’s effectiveness.
Special Area
Indicated by a ? node. This one requires you to collect Intel.
Relic Warehouse
No enemies will be in this area. Simply step on the 3 raised buttons on the map to get rewards.
Scrounger
4 enemies who do not attack with high movement and will escape. A Relic can delay their escape by 3 turns.
Lethal Area
The floor’s boss.

GENERAL EXPLORATION
It is best you conquer as many Dangerous Area nodes as you can, due to the limited nature of nodes and potential for Text Fragments. They also have higher probability of giving higher rarity relics. The general team building rules and character recommendations will still serve you well, with relics and / or various Area Characteristics potentially shaking things up.
Thanks to a combination of Relics and Area Characteristics, you can even still opt for an off-element team to take down Lethal Area enemies, though this will naturally vary accordingly to your line-up.
RECOMMENDED RELICS
The following is a list of highly recommended relics with the least amount of variables:
RELIC | RARITY | EFFECT |
Kaleidogem | S | 4 adjacent tiles randomly become chromatic tiles (any colour) |
Silent Death | S | Kills Eclipsites under 10% HP |
Death Note | S | Inflicts Wounded debuff on Eclipsites for damage on moving |
Falling Sakura | S | Normal attack combos in multiples of 5 deal one explosion damage |
Floating Scorcher / Icer / Forestwrath / Thunder | A | Hovers around an Aurorian. Deals elemental damage on Normal attacks. When all 4 Floating units are obtained, deals map-wide damage on chain combo, depending on captain’s element |
The Floating set is incredibly potent and can help easily annihilate anything even without a Chain Combo. B-rank relics are typically flat buffs, while some A-rank relics require a full set for double effects and are more conditional:
- Silvermoon set: Affects small monsters
- Radiance set: Effects occur on-kill of Large Eclipsites
That’s pretty much it to Alchemy Stars Secret Territory! It’s quite recommended to speed through the story to get here, since this will be a reliable way for you to get some Recruitment done. Good luck!
