After much deliberation, Japan-based developer QualiArts launched its idol management RPG Idoly Pride for the Android and iOS platforms. As previously reported, in the game, you take on the role of manager for these idols, organizing everything from their fan meet events, TV appearances and of course, their live performances.
Furthermore, you’ll be able to form deep bonds with your idols, with them being able to send messages or even call you about their concerns, apparently including outside of the game. It promises 3D live performances in the game, so pretty much virtual 3D MVs as some recent games – Project Sekai for example – have adopted.
With how new the project is, we’ll have to see how far this will go. Also, as pre-registration for the game has hit its milestones, all users will be rewarded accordingly. Furthermore, rerolling in this game is reported to be a breeze, so if you need that head start, it will probably not take you very long to get going. In any case, be sure to drop by official website for the game or official Twitter for further details and updates, which will be fairly frequent considering how new this IP is. Idol games are a dime and a dozen, but not many take the management route, so if that is your kind of thing, be sure to give Idoly Pride a try.
