UNIQLO Japan and Yoasobi to launch UT collaboration line

As announced through Ayase’s Youtube channel, UNIQLO and YOASOBI will be launching a UT collaboration line. At time of writing, the YOASOBI line should only be applicable to Japan UNIQLO branches, set for a 2 July 2021 release. The upcoming line-up can already be previewed through the website here with designs for both adults and children based on YOASOBI’s original key visual and discography including Yoru ni Kakeru, Halzion, Tabun, Gunjou, Haruka, Encore and Sangenshoku. Both composer Ayase and vocalist ikura can be seen modelling some of the designs.

For the unfamiliar, Yoasobi started off with songs based off short stories posted through Monogatary. They later have released songs in collaboration with other works and brands – Gunjou typically associated with the manga Blue Period – as well as OPs / EDs for anime – their work for Beastars being one of their more recent.

Perhaps unsurprisingly enough, this collaboration will also see a new song release, stylized as SING YOUR WORLD. The song will be available from 4 July, 18:00 JST through the Ayase / YOASOBI joint Youtube channel.

Prices start at 990 yen for kids sizes, and 1500 yen for adult sizes. We’ll see if the line ever makes it to international UNIQLO outlets.
