Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds has officially launched in Japan and Korea! For some of you eager Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds enthusiasts out there, prior to its Japan and Korea release, the game did come out earlier on 8 June for Taiwan (which would have been in Traditional Chinese). Once again, there’s presently no confirmation the game will see a global launch, so if you don’t understand Japanese, Korean or T. Chinese, you’re out of luck for now.
The Japanese side did do a preview stream of a slice of the game, full details you can read about here. Here’s the cliffnotes:
- Five different classes (Rogue, Destroyer, Witch, Engineer, Swordsman)
- Can be customized
- Pets known as Imagen can follow you around and support you in battle
- Co-op raids with up to five members in a party with four difficulty levels
- Large scale territorial conquest PVP with support of up to 100 players
The game is an MMORPG that has a degree of auto battling as well. Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds was originally showcased in November 2019 at G-STAR 2019, so you could say the release – even if it is in limited regions for now – has been a long time coming. With Netmarble at the helm, it’s entirely possible the game will be available globally, so stay tuned.
