Monster Hunter Riders is getting a Monster Hunter Rise collaboration, adding content from the latest mainline Monster Hunter title into the mobile spinoff.
In a special trailer, they showed off the star of the collab, which is the arrival of Magnamalo, the flagship monster for Monster Hunter Rise. New hunters have also been added into the game, sporting Magnamalo’s armor set from Monster Hunter Rise.
Clearing the game’s related quests will also allow you to unlock the rider/monster duo featuring Magnamalo, letting you do powerful special moves with Magnamalo based on its moves in Monster Hunter Rise.
The Monster Hunter Rise content comes as part of the Dragon Knight festival, which also sees the addition of several other monsters from the new title such as Tetranadon.
Monster Hunter Riders is the mobile spinoff of the Monster Hunter series, featuring monster riders who also don hunters armor from the mainline games. It shares a lot in common with Monster Hunter Stories, which also has a very similar concept with the game’s focus on “Monsties”, rideable monsters.
Monster Hunter is no stranger to collaborations- outside of the Monster Hunter Riders Monster Hunter Rise collab they’ve also done collaborations with other mobile games such as D4DJ, as well as another free-to-play tile, Ninjala.
