Diablo Immortal will be commencing a test period in China in the summer, alongside a new trailer debuting at the Netease Connect 2021 annual product launch event. Presumably we can hope for a launch sometime this year, sooner rather than later, as the game opens up to more territories across the world. What better way to polish a product than with the large pool of testers in China, right?

We most recently tested out the Crusader ourselves – which you can check out here – the newest class added to the game. In the mean time, the rest of the world will have to keep on waiting for the official release date, or further testing periods they are likely to open up. With the test period in China, we could also see further changes and updates to Diablo Immortal not unlike the Crusader update. After all, they did tease the Necromancer, and pet-based classes are still not in the game yet – as hinted at in our interview with Lead Producer, Caleb Arseneaux and Senior System Designer, Kris Zierhut, which you can read here. No launch plans were revealed then, and none now either, but don’t worry: we’ll be right there with you once they let us know when the game will finally be out.
