Rockstar Games announced the release date for the expanded and enhanced PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of both GTA 5 and GTA Online. The announcement was made earlier today together with upcoming content for GTA Online and Red Dead Online over the coming months.
The release date for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S ports of GTA 5 and GTA Online is November 11th 2021.
In addition, the new standalone version of GTA Online will be available for free exclusively on the PS5 for the first three months. PlayStation Plus members on PS4 will also be able to claim GTA$1,000,000 via the PlayStation Store at the start of every month until the launch of GTA Online on PS5.
Prior to the launch, however, GTA Online will be getting more racing-themed events. Eight new Stunt Races will be coming to the GTA Online Stunt Series on May 27th. Also, players can expect seven new arenas in Deadline mode. Survival mode will also expand to new Los Santos and Blaine County locations.
Red Dead Online will also be getting eight new Races. From Standard Races to Open Target Races, all these new Races will be available on May 25th. The summer update of the game will also bring tonnes of new missions.
