As we have reported previously, Bandai Namco will be localising Tales of the Rays, which is due for a release sometime in summer 2017. To commemorate the occasion, the developer has posted an English language trailer, showcasing what the game has to offer.
This smartphone RPG has you filling in the shoes of protagonists Ix or Mileena, individuals who have descended from a bloodline of Mirrirsts and must journey to revive their world. Despite the platform Tales of the Rays promises to deliver the “classic Tales experience” familiar to fans, with its 3D Linear Motion Battle system where you will venture across various dungeons to do battle with an assortment of monsters. The game also boasts animations and skits that are a series trademark.
Tales of the Rays will be out for iOS and Android this summer in the west. If you cannot wait, the game is actually already available Japan.
