As part of the Energy Amplifier Initiation event, Genshin Impact allows you to equip a variety of buffs, in this case the Fruit Core and Fruit Splinter you find in the various areas of interest. These are meant to help you to clear the tougher challenges in the Twisted Realms, and only work in the event Domains.
MOTIVE FORCE
This can be considered the primary limiting factor when it comes to equipping your Core and Splinters. Without enough Motive Force, you won’t be able to equip any core or splinters even if you have the slots.
You are limited to 1000 Motive Force in Solo, and 1250 in Co-op. You can gain additional Motive Force by throwing in your Friend Support characters, though there’s still an upper limit.
SLOTS
You have slots for One Fractured Fruit Core, and Ten for Fractured Fruit Splinter for your Energy Amplifier. You can choose to equip the Splinter slots with all 3-star or 2-star Splinters as long as you have enough Motive Force.
When you’re done equipping, you can hit Equipment Details to see what effects you have on. The Core and Splinter are accordingly colour-coded in your Energy Amplifier.
