[ Guide ] Noelle Hangout Event: Knightly Exam Prep All Endings

Welcome to a simple guide to help you get all endings and branches in a new series of character stories in Hangout Events for Genshin Impact, this one featuring the ever studious maid, Noelle once more, in her Knightly Exam Prep! There are also achievements you can get related to the Hangout, so let’s begin. You will need to have cleared Act 1: Chivalric Training, so if you haven’t already, use our guide here.

UNLOCKING HANGOUT EVENTS

You’ll need two Story Keys to unlock the Hangout Event. The keys are only needed for the initial unlock, you do not need more for the rest of the events.

EMERGENCY EXAM PREP

When you meet Noelle, choose “Just came to say hi.” so that you don’t reduce hearts.

These options will lead to:

• “A change of scenery might do you good.”
  • For Rest Amidst the Rocks, “The Maid Knight’s Tale” endings
• “Don’t hide from it. Confront the stress of the exam directly.”
  • For Perfect Score, Points Deducted, The One and Only Noelle, Work Made for a Maid endings

These options will lead to:

• “You could take some more exams to get used to the atmosphere.”
  • For Perfect Score, Points Deducted endings
• “You could try to imagine yourself passing the exam.”
  • For The One and Only Noelle, Work Made for a Maid endings

LEVITY IN LIYUE

No branches occur here, but choose “Understanding the local culture will help you connect with people and learn more.” to not reduce hearts.

LIYUE LOCAL WEAPONRY

Choose “She has her own weapon already, she wouldn’t need to.” to not reduce hearts.

These options will lead to:

• “The harbor. We may learn something from the Millelith.”
  • For Rest Amidst the Rocks ending

You’ll fight off eight Treasure Hoarders in total as Noelle solo. Finish the dialogue tree to obtain the ending.

• “Let’s head to Third Round Knockout, then keep exploring.”
  • For “The Maid Knight’s Tale” ending

As Noelle solo, you will need to clear out the towers, huts and fences in the camp. Later, you’ll also need to fend off five Hilichurl. The last item you will need is 1 x Chaos Device, before you obtain the ending.

Obtaining this ending will get you the Invulnerable Maid Knight achievement.

ADVENTURER’S ENTRANCE EXAM

Test answers:

1. Which of the following local specialties of Mondstadt cannot be found near Wolvendom? Windwheel Aster
2. What is the name of this adventurer? Roald
3. What is the name of this taboo territory? Mare Jivari
4. Correct food: Steak

Finally, you will need to defeat a Ruin Guard in 70 seconds. You can have your full party as well as Noelle (Trial) to defeat it. You won’t be able to change your party when you get to this point in the quest, so adjust accordingly before. You will then obtain the Perfect Score ending on defeating the Ruin Guard.

You can answer all the Quiz questions correctly and give the correct food. To obtain the Points Deducted ending you will need to fail at least one of the trials. Simply time out the Ruin Guard battle, if you answer correctly for the previous two sections.

BEFORE you talk to Noelle in the Library again, be sure to interact with Noelle’s Study Notes on the table to get the Mondstadt’s Note-Taker General achievement. After that, talk to her to obtain the ending.

OUTRIDER 101

You’ll be tasked to collect quest specific Fresh Valberries, and defeat four Pyro Slime. After that, you will fight one Shielded Mitachurl, and six Hilichurl. You can do both battles with your own party, while Noelle (Trial) will join in the Hilichurl fight.

These options will lead to:

• “You could become an Acting Grand Master, like Jean.”
  • For The One and Only Noelle ending
  • Talk to Glory and finish the proceeding quests to get the ending

• “You could become a Cavalry Captain, like Kaeya.”
  • For Work Made for a Maid ending
  • Simply finish the proceeding quests to get the ending

With all the endings obtained, you’ll get the Stress Relief achievement.

Noelle has still a lot of exam prep left she would probably want to do, so be sure to hangout with her every now and again so that she can relax. Maybe.
