Arc System Works has announced a second Beta for the highly anticipated Guilty Gear Strive, following the recent location test.
On their website, they confirmed the game would be available for the public from May 13th to May 16th. You’ll be able to start pre-downloading the client from May 7th, 10am on your regional PS store.
Sadly, just like previous betas, this one will be PlayStation-exclusive, so those waiting to try the game before buying it on PC will either need to have a Playstation or just wait for the game’s PC release.
The announcement also gave plans plenty to look forward to, as Arc System Works showed off the newly reworked online lobby. The game is now using a lobby system more similar to games like Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator Rev 2, with Duel Stations set around the map for players to wait at, more akin to old arcades.
That being said, the Guilty Gear Strive Second Beta will include the recently announced Anji Mito and I-No, letting fans try out the full launch roster of the game ahead of its June launch.
Guilty Gear Strive’s first Open Beta went extremely well, with Arc System Works having gathered a lot of data regarding the positive feedback towards the game’s rollback netcode implementation, as well as the negative feedback to the game’s online lobby.
