NetEase has just opened pre-registrations for Lost Light, its upcoming survival shooter for Android platforms, with no word as when the same will be for iOS. The game is scheduled for a soft launch in Australia and New Zealand, with the open beta to be available in the two countries as well.
As previously reported, Lost Light will have players engaging in the lockdown zone. Whether to go it alone or group up, the choice is entirely theirs as they scavenge for loot and keep away from other players.
NetEase Games says that the game will feature 1:1 recreations of guns, based on their real-life counterparts. These guns can also be modded, adding on various parts to change the performance in your gameplay.
The game will also feature a player-driven economy, letting players freely trade items between each other to keep themselves alive.
According to NetEase, once you get into the habit of trading your surplus loot, it’s even possible to get by never getting into fights anymore because you just deal as a trader.
Even if you have no friends to play with, NetEase has set up a Discord and Facebook page, so you can even find people to set up shop with if you want to stave off looters together.
