Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle, after having launched over a year ago, has announced its shut down. The announcement on their Facebook page is as follows:
Dear Psychics,Thank you for the continuous love and support. Today, we must share the news that the game, Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle, will come to an end.In advance of sunsetting the game, in-app purchases will be available until April 29, 2021 5:00PM PT, when the game’s payment system will be turned off. Thereafter, the game will not be accepting any in-app payments or refunds. The mobile game will continue to be playable until June1, 2021 7:00PM PT, at which point the game will be shut down from the servers.From all the partners involved in this development and publishing process, we appreciate the continuous support of the game and the love for the game.
Considering how the last update for the page was in October 2020 without even an apparent commemoration for the first anniversary of Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle, this shut down was probably inevitable. Unfortunate for those who liked the game, but at least it managed to last a year, one supposes.
