Ji-Woon Hak, also known by his in-game name The Trickster, is the K-Pop Killer in asymmetric survival horror Dead by Daylight.
The music artist cum murderer makes his debut in the game with the trailer for its newest chapter, All-Kill. Check out the animated trailer for Dead by Daylight‘s newest chapter here:
Looking like he will hit the charts and stab your hearts, the K-Pop killer Ji-Woon Hak is undoubtedly a breath of fresh air in Dead by Daylight. Compared to the game’s roster of grimy, mask-wearing and otherworldly cast of killers, The Trickster definitely appears to be the odd one out of the bunch. For someone who records the screams of his victims to mix into his music, the dedication to his craft is admirable.
Joining him is his producer, Yun-Jin Lee. She is the newest survivor in the game. Like most survivors, her popularity is overshadowed by the accompanying killer.
According to developer Behaviour Interactive, the title of the game’s latest chapter, All-Kill, is a reference to the Korean music industry. When a K-Pop group’s song or album reaches number 1 on all 8 Korean music charts, this is an All-Kill.
While All-Kill has yet to arrive on the mobile version of the game, players can try out the Trickster on Steam. The game is currently enjoying a 50% discount on the digital distribution platform.
