Looking to set foot in the video game industry? PlayStation Studios Malaysia is looking for new hires for a variety of positions. Job listings such as VFX artist, software engineer and more popped up on linkedin not too long ago.
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) Worldwide Studios Malaysia head Hasnul Hadi tweeted the following:

As the Malaysian branch of PlayStation’s first-party studio, Kuala Lumpur is where it will be based at. As the studio is still in the process of setting up, its exact location still remains uncertain. Furthermore, Hasnul Hadi’s latest tweet suggests that they are still looking for the right spot to set up shop.
Regardless, being part of one of the biggest video game companies in the world is certainly a great opportunity for Malaysians looking to make it in the industry. The linkedin page for some of the jobs states that there will be opportunities to work with big-name studios such as Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studio.
