Play as Big Chungus in Looney Tunes World of Mayhem

It’s not every day that you see a meme turn into an official character, but lo and behold, Big Chungus will now appear with other Looney Tunes cast. Big Chungus will join the ranks of Bugs Banny, Road Runner and other iconic cartoon characters in Looney Tunes World of Mayhem.

The game’s official Twitter account teased the coming of Big Chungus.

Some of you might be hoping that this is an April Fool’s joke, but no. Big Chungus drops into the game on 2nd April and will go live until 6th April.

Big Chungus is a Toon of the Legendary rarity and will be obtainable in the Eggstravaganza event. In this Big Chungus-themed Easter event, players will need to collect Big Chungus Eggs and Coins. They will be exchangeable for Big Chungus pieces and other rewards.

Gaining its meme status in 2018, Big Chungus became an internet sensation when the image of the girthy Bugs Bunny went viral thanks to its appearance on a box art of a fake PS4 game of the same name. The character first appeared way back in 1941, in the Wabbit Twouble episode of Merrie Melodies.
