Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 will air in Winter 2022

With the first part of Attack on Titan Final Season concluding with its sixteenth episode, part 2 of the season finale is finally confirmed. You can watch the promo video for season 4 part 2 below:

The next part for Attack on Titan Final Season will air in the Winter 2022 anime season. Note that winter 2022 refers to the new anime releases between December 2021 – March 2022. While most winter anime tend to premiere in January, it is possible for the second part of Attack on Titan Final Season to air towards the end of the year, similar to how the first part aired.

Initially, the anime’s official website confirmed that Attack on Titan‘s fourth season will only have 16 episodes. As viewers continued watching the episodes this season, it was becoming more and more apparent that Studio MAPPA will not be covering the remainder of the manga in the remaining episodes.

In 16 episodes, Studio MAPPA was able to adapt 26 chapters of the manga. With 23 chapters of the manga left to adapt, part 2 of Attack on Titan Final Season will likely take a similar number of episodes.
