Guilty Gear and Blazblue OST Now Available on Spotify and Apple Music

Arc System Works has announced that they would be releasing the OST for their various series including Guilty Gear and Blazblue on music streaming sites.

The games’ music, composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari has always been one of their most defining features, with the title track for the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive becoming so popular that it prompted fan sing-a-longs at events where characters were shown.

The songs are all published to Spotify and Apple Music under the name Arc System Works, and features music from Downtown Nekketsu, Saburo Jinguji Detective Story, Guilty Gear and Blazblue.

Guilty Gear songs had been streamable prior to this, although previously only the music from Guilty Gear Isuka and Guilty Gear XX were available. With today’s drop, fans can finally legally stream the soundtrack to the most recent title, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- and Guilty Gear 2: Overture.

Similarly, fans can also dive into the discography of the Blazblue series, covering the entirety of the 10 year franchise including Continuum Shift and Centralfiction.

Guilty Gear and Blazblue are good examples of OST becoming part of the games’ identity, with Arc System Works having had multiple live concerts in the past just performing the music from these games. Vocal versions of several Blazblue tracks were previously available to stream before this.
