Fall Guys Kizuna Ai Collaboration Adds Costumes And A Vtuber Tournament

Mediatonic has announced a Fall Guys Kizuna Ai collaboration, adding one of the first mainstream vtubers into the pantheon of crossover costumes for the game.

The Kizuna Ai costume will be available as a two-piece outfit in Fall Guys, with each individual piece costing five crowns each. The costume will only be available for a limited time, running from March 27th to March 29th.

On top of that, the virtual Youtuber also announced Fall Ais, a 40-man tournament that will feature Vtubers competing against each other for the crown. The lineup of Vtubers for the tournament will be announced later today via a special livestream.

Kizuna Ai is largely considered one of the first really popular Vtubers, having popularized the idea of Vtubers being both gamers and idols, rather than one or the other. She’s had multiple collaborations, having even done promotions for movies like Blade Runner 2049 and games like Azur Lane.

Mediatonic has also always been aware of Fall Guys’ potential for crossovers with its costumes, having held a charity auction early in the game’s history to allow brands to pitch their own costume ideas. On top of that they’ve also had multiple crossovers such as with Portal, as well as adding new costumes every time there’s a Season update.
