The next collaboration NieR Reincarnation will be having is with NieR Replicant, which is hardly surprising. Of course, if you want to be specific, it’s NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… featuring the Protagonist, Kainé and Emil. You can check out the preview video for the collab below:
We can probably assume that all three characters will be available through the gacha as 4-star characters, and have event shop versions at 3-star rarity going by the Automata collab anyway, along with alternate versions for the Reincarnation cast. The NieR Reincarnation and Replicant collab will be beginning 31 March 2021.
With these collabs planned, the English version can eventually look forward to these releases as well. The last update regarding the English release for Reincarnation apologizes for the delays, assuring much work is going into the launch and localization, which will include English dubbing. The Japanese release is being used as the testing grounds for the devs to fix bugs and such, according to the director’s letter which you can read about here.
Incidentally, Replicant will also be launching worldwide on 22 / 23 April, so this seems like a good timing to get on the hype. Just stay tuned for more news for Reincarnation‘s global release, which would hopefully be within 2021.
