Dragon Quest Walk is celebrating its 1.5 anniversary since its launch in Japan! As is usually the case, this means celebratory bonuses and all that jazz. Until 9 April, you’ll be able to challenge a quest to obtain 1,500 gems. You can get an additional 2,000 gems through the log in bonus, also until 9 April. You can encounter the Memoral Great Slime until 18 March at a fixed location as well.
For paid items, a Dragon Quest Walk 1.5 Anniversary Commemorative Pass is available for purchase along with half off the Gold Pass 4-Pack Set. There’s a campaign for 50% field EXP to help you rank up to level 55. Packs to purchase 5-star weapons are available until 26 March. Last but not least, the game is running a collaboration event with Dragon Quest VII, which will run until 27 April.
For the unfamiliar, Dragon Quest Walk is an AR game that works to similar games like Pokemon Go or The Witcher: Monster Slayer. As of now, there’s no news about bringing the game worldwide, currently being limited only to Japan. Well, for the most part it’s not like you’re able to leave the house for such outings, but it’d be nice if the option is available. If you can try out the game for yourself, why not?
