Real Experience Unicorn Gundam Bust Now Available For Preorder

Give your room a taste of Universal Century charm with the Real Experience RX-0 Unicorn Gundam bust, now available for pre-order via Bandai’s website.

The bust features the iconic Unicorn Gundam, the titular mech of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It features motorized transformation, as well as light up effects and sounds to give it an authentic feel. The Real Experience Unicorn Gundam will set you back 55,000 Yen ( MYR 2073.51 or 503 USD).

The motorized transformation will allow the statue to change between the Unicorn Gundam’s Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode, in a similar fashion to its life-sized counterpart in Odaiba, Tokyo.

Aside from physically transforming, the LEDs can also change color, letting the Unicorn Gundam change between its red-based coloring from the earlier half of the OVA to its green Psycho Frame to represent it pulling off great feats.

Similar to its Odaiba counterpart, only the head really transforms, largely due to the fact that it would have been hard to keep the model stable while having the shoulder pieces free to move around.

Gundam Unicorn has been Gundam’s current flagship franchise, being an extension of the main Universal Century timeline. It’s received a 7-part theatrical OVA, as well as a serialized TV release in Re:0096. The Unicorn has been the face of the Gundam franchise for the past few years, with the 1:1 life-sized statue replacing the RX 78-2 at Diver City in Odaiba.
