Disgaea 6 Hololive Collaboration Available Today

The free Hololive DLC for Disgaea 6 is available for download in Japan, adding Vtuber-themed content to the game.

This content was released alongside another DLC, which adds Adell, Rozalin and Laharl-Chan into the game. This paid DLC costs 550 Yen per character.

Here’s the list of all the Hololive-themed units coming to Disgaea 6:

• Shirakami Fubuki Unit “FubuKing” (Prinny)
• Uruha Rushia Unit “Ruusha” (Succubus)
• Shiranui Flare Unit “Torte” (Psychic)
• Tsunomaki Watame Unit “Watamee” (Evil Eye)
• Omaru Polka Unit “PolPol” (Mage)

Aside from just being palette-swapped to match the Vtubers, the units will also have unique voicelines voiced by the vtubers themselves. These include weird in-jokes from the Vtuber’s streams, such as Watame’s infamous “Watame did nothing wrong”, a response to her poor internet connection.

The units are all based on Vtubers from across Hololive’s “generations”, the waves at which talents join the Vtuber industry. These include the very popular first-generation Vtuber Shirakami Fubuki, as well the widely popular third generation “Holofantasy” members Rushia and Flare.

Similarly, this is the first in-game collaboration for Hololive fifth generation member Omaru Polka, who debuted late 2020.

We’re seeing more and more Hololive collaborations as the Vtuber/idol agency picks up steam, such as with the recent Princess Connect Re:Dive collaboration featuring their English off-shoot Hololive EN.

While Disgaea 6 is currently only available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan, that’s not going to be the case for long. The game will be getting a North American and European release later in the Summer, though we don’t have specific dates.
