Japan-based game developer Gomashio has just launched Himegami Kagura, its RPG for the Android and iOS platforms.
The game was initially meant to be out on 13 January 2021, but a unexpected hiccup during the iOS version review had delayed the launch. As an apology of sorts, the game is giving out 10 gacha tickets to all users. Himegami Kagura serves as a spiritual successor to the Himegami Emaki which ended its service in 2018. The game now tells a new story of the Himegami, gods inspired by ancient mythology.
You start by assembling a team of five Himegami and must then embark on a mission to restore the orders of the Shinra Bansho. Battles are semi-automatic in nature, and you are tasked with unleashing skills of the Himegami at the most opportune moment to vanquish your foes. Throughout the fight, you will be able to fill your SP gauge in order to user your character’s ultimate. As you progress through the game, the enemies will get harder, and you will have to come up with the best strategy to emerge victorious. To aid you, the game also incorporates a Chaotic Interference battle mechanic that lets players stop time on the battlefield, granting you the ability to move around freely to avoid attacks.
Anyway, the game is available to download, so be sure to go about it. For more information, be sure to drop by the official website.
