SNK dropped a trailer for the next entry in their biggest franchise, and it looks spectacular. The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV from here on out) will release this year.
The company tweeted earlier today, revealing the good news to all fans eager to catch a glimpse of what the new entry offers.

With the tagline “Shatter All Expectations”, the trailer showcased Shun’ei, Kyo, Benimaru, K’, Mai, and Leona performing some of their moves. Lasting just under a minute, the trailer is full of vibrant colours and explosive special effects. See it for yourself!
Originally, this announcement was supposed to be made on January 6th. SNK has apologised for the delay. Thankfully, fans didn’t need to wait too long to hear the good news that KOF XV will come out this year. Currently, the developer and publisher did not reveal what platforms are compatible with the upcoming title.
Besides the tweet and trailer, SNK also uploaded a video on their YouTube channel today which talked about KOF XV’s first official reveal. It featured the game’s producer and creative director, Yasuyuki Oda and Eisuke Ogura as they shared more information about the upcoming entry.
