Granvilier – A Side-Scrolling Monster Breeding Game!

Granvilier (遥かなる異郷グランヴィリア) is a game developed by CommSeed. They have recently officially launched the game in Japan’s stores. The game is now available for both the iOS and Android devices. However the game is only available in Japan for now. There are no news on whether the game will come to global anytime soon.

While Granvilier is a newly launched game, the game is pretty similar to another game, King’s Raid. Players will play through the side-scroller along with the monsters that you can collect. The monsters can be summoned via gacha to form a team of various monsters to fight through battles. As a result, the game combat and controls are similar as well in most side-scroller monster breeding games like these.

For each unique monster that players gain, they all have their own unique skills. The monsters can be enhanced further to become more powerful. A mini QTE system is also present in the game as players will need to tap the reactive circles on screen to increase the power of the character’s skill. The game does not just take monsters and their roles lightly either. There are front, middle and back lines which will need to be taken into consideration when forming your team.
