Anybody Out There: Dead City is a game developed by Everbyte and published by Headup Games. The game brings you into a zombie apocalypse world where you are the support or “Customer Support Helpdesk” for survivors trying to survive out there via a messenger app. You will need to provide with suggestions and advice by choosing the right answers or your friend will succumb to the hordes of zombies.
Once the game starts, you will start by receiving a text from Sam. Sam is in trouble in the zombie apocalypse and he is seeking your help and advice even if they are just words of encouragement for him to stay alive. Through the fictional messenger app, you are given a few responses based on what Sam said to you. There, you will need to choose from the following responses based on the situation Sam is in. Depending on the solution, the outcome of Sam or the very livelihood of Sam is in your hands. Replies could come several hours later which gives some form of realism as Sam proceeds to your suggestion which would give players a suspense of whether Sam would survive or not.
The game was launched on the 18th of May and has received many positive reviews. If you are looking for a game with decisions and different story outcomes, then this could be your pot of gold. The game costs a mere RM4.49 for a great game.
