Singaporean influencers and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang pro players came together for the MLBB 2020 Singapore Charity Showmatch to raise money for Club Rainbow. YouTube celebrities JianHao Tan and Aiman from Night Owl Cinematics, as well as Singaporean pro teams, RSG and Kingsmen participated in the event.
RSG went against Kingsmen to start off the first BO3 series, securing a 2-1 win in Protect the Captain Mode. Kingsmen found their footing in the second series, once again in Protect the Captain mode, and swept RSG 2-0.
The celebrity showmatch pitted Team Aiman against Team Jianhao, with added spice in “Mysterious Fun Match”. Team leaders were given a random choice to play games with rules agreed upon by both teams, be it Protect the Captain, Mid Only, and others. Team Aiman took a decisive victory with a 3-1 scoreline.
Holding to the hashtag, #FIGHTFORLOVETOGETHER, Moonton is also pledging to Club Rainbow based on the peak concurrent viewers (PCU) of the event, where the total amount of donation was based on the accumulated peak concurrent viewers from the official livestream from Facebook and YouTube. The MLBB 2020 Singapore Charity Showmatch reached up to 7,900 PCU, resulting in a donation of SGD21,800 for Club Rainbow.
