Marvel Duel adds Captain America to roster

Marvel Duel for the Android and iOS platforms is set to close out the year with a special update on 24 December 2020 by its developer. The update includes the much sought-after Captain America — along with characters from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Expect to see a special New Year’s events and additional surprises. Details of the update from the official press release for the game as follows.

The world has been thrown into chaos and in desperate need of heroes to save the planet! Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are mobilizing to fight off the invasion of Hydra and they won’t have to face them alone. The first Neutral Super Hero, Captain America, will join MARVEL Duel to provide some heavyweight support. The Winter Soldier, Nick Fury, and other Avengers also join Captain America in this united fight against Hydra. Team up now to climb to the top of the ladder!

Following the path of Captain America, Avengers already in the game like Thor are set to receive a new keyword — ‘Avengers’. Agents will also receive an update with each Agent now offering even more powerful support: the ability to boost up Avengers to 8 stars!

Many new Marvel Super Heroes are set to appear in MARVEL Duel throughout the holidays. The first duo-characters Support Heroes: Groot and Rocket, are joining the Guardian of the Galaxy Collection. While Hela, will have her fellow Asgardian god, Loki, as her new Support hero. MARVEL Duel’s abundance of new protagonists can take part in all-new events too, such as the upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. vs. Hydra themed Season event, and many more. Events feature a series of challenges and some very generous rewards.
