Goblin Slayer: The Endless Revenge announces it will end service on 25 December 2020, just about a year since the game launched. If you missed out on knowing what the game was, it wasn’t that big of a loss. You can read our impressions on the game here.
Simply put, the game was essentially a Fruit Ninja clone, except with the titular goblin slayer and the fruits were goblins instead. It sure did have its typical gacha trappings, with seasonal versions of characters available to obtain. They did have the addition raids, but the core gameplay wasn’t the most appealing out there, to put it lightly.
In any case, it’s surprising Goblin Slayer: The Endless Revenge managed to last almost a year before the end of service announcement for what it’s worth. If you’re still able to and would like to try out a few minutes of mindless swiping, you could give it a shot. Hopefully someone else can pick up the property and give it a game more deserving of the endless carnage it could have provided. The official website hasn’t been updated with a pop up notice about the game closing, but it’s there on the official Twitter.
