Via a tweet, Square Enix announced that the remaster for SaGa Frontier will be making its way to various platforms, namely the PlayStation 4, Switch, PC and smartphones in Summer 2021. The game originally came out in Japan back on 11 July 1997, spawning several titles as part of a larger RPG franchise.
There are some tweaks this time around, as Fuse will be added as a playable character, taking the number of characters to eight. Blue, Asellus, Lute, Red, Riki, T260G and Emelia will be making their return as well, of course Everyone will still be getting their own story and endings, with Asselus getting new, never-seen-before events included for the full experience.

With it being a remaster, the graphics have been enhanced considerably, with character, monsters and backgrounds getting spruce up with higher resolutions. The menu has also been reworked to make it easier for users to read. The gameplay remains largely unchanged, but as with all Square Enix remasters, there are the addition of functionalities such as double speed and other toggles to make the game easier to play.
To reiterate, SaGa Frontier Remastered will be coming out for the PlayStation 4, Switch, PC and smartphones in Summer 2021.
