Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire 5 Highlights

With Cyberpunk 2077 on the horizon once again, a new trailer and Night City Wire, the latter on episode 5, was released. The latest trailer focused on Johnny Silverhand and his unique connection with V, followed by a behind-the-scenes video with Keanu Reeves talking about his transformation into Night City’s iconic rebel rockerboy, with a look at voice and motion capture recording sessions.

The Original Score EP has also been released on a selection of popular digital music streaming and distribution platforms, while you too can also listen to Marcin Przybyłowicz (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), P.T. Adamczyk (GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales), and Paul Leonard-Morgan (Dredd, Limitless, Battlefield: Hardline) talk about crafting atmospheric original music for the upcoming video game.

Night City Wire 5 also featured the innovative technological solution used in Cyberpunk 2077 to power facial expressions and lip sync for characters in the game. The video provides insight into how JALI makes performances immersively realistic across 11 fully localized languages.

Last, but definitely not least, is the official gameplay trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, with 5 minutes of in-game footage within Night City: with never-before-seen interactions, action scenes and story details, it’ll soon be yours to enjoy 10 December 2020 on PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Stadia. A free upgrade will be available for the Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 for those with the applicable console.
