NieR Replicant Lunar Tear Edition Coming To Asia

The physical special edition for the upcoming Nier Replicant remake, Ver. 1.2247… will be coming to Asian markets, as per an announcement by Square Enix. In a press release they confirmed that the Lunar Tear Edition would be released April 22nd, 2021.

The NieR Replicant Lunar Tear Edition will be available from RM599, for PS4. More information on physical pre-orders will be available soon.

The Lunar Tear Edition comes with several goodies for die-hard NieR fans. These include a special collector’s box, as well as Grimoire pins and the game’s soundtrack. The full contents of the collector’s edition can be found below:

•  PlayStation®4 Game Package
• “Lunar Tear” Collector’s Box
•  Steelbook® Case – A metal case featuring stunning artwork by character designer Akihiko Yoshida
•  Grimoire Pin Set – Grimoire Weiss, Grimoire Noir, and Grimoire Rubrum pins presented in a specialized display case.
• NieR Soundtrack CD Set – A two-disc collection – one disc featuring newly-recorded and arranged music for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, the other disc being a special arrangement disc featuring versions of tracks that are exclusive to the White Snow Edition. Presented in a premium Grimoire Weiss-inspired package.

In addition to that, Square Enix have also made more footage from the TGS gameplay demo available to watch. This also includes the commentary by the panel, naturally.
