Triple-A Gacha game Genshin Impact has announced an upcoming mini-event, as well as a content roadmap for upcoming updates. The mini-event, titled Elemental Crucible, is available today.
This even will see players working together to feed Elemental Clots into a Crucible. It’s a co-op event, so you’ll be able to do this with your friends.
The contentious thing about this event is that it uses the time-gated Resin resource. You can spend Resin to get rare materials from the event, though the price is steep. It’ll cost you 40 Resin, or 1/3 of your total limit. Additionally, players are reporting that the event itself does not give Resin rewards.
Some players have expressed their frustration over the cost, especially since resin only regenerates at a rate of 1 per 8 minutes. If you were to wait it out, you’d need five hours to get more of resin.
In addition to the Elemental Crucible, Mihoyo also announced a content roadmap for Genshin Impact. According to a forum post, Mihoyo wants to have a “version update” every 6 weeks, with the updates launching on Wednesday.
The first of these updates, the 1.1 Update, will take place on November 11th. This update will see the addition of an event called the Unreconciled Stars. The 1.2 update set for December will introduce a new area, called Dragonspine.
So far the roadmap only has updates listed up to 1.3, which takes place in February. The nature of the events mentioned has also not been revealed.
