Video game company conglomerate Konami has just announced a new Esports School which is located in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
According to the Konami Esports school’s official website, the school offers lectures as well as hands-on learning on different games such as Pro Evo Soccer, eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball (Konami’s own baseball game), Dota 2 as well as Fortnite.
Students in the school not only practice playing the game, they also learn how to create their own content, learn about business angles as well as planning their own gaming events, they even get to learn English.
The lecturers in this Esports school are actual Esports pro in their own field, so that the students will be able to get some hands on experiences and tips from real professionals. And not only that there are part-time classes available, students can also enroll for a year, with five days a week of classes.
Although, these lessons aren’t exactly considered to be cheap. For an example, coaching for twice a week is around 41,800 yen ($396/ RM1647) while a four-times-a-week business seminar is around 79,200 yen ($750/RM3121).
Full time students have morning sessions and afternoon ones with the earliest class starting at 9:40 a.m and ends at 3:10 p.m. with having an hour worth of lunch break time.
