The fallen angel, Belial, has arrived to the world of Granblue Fantasy Versus. His appearance marks the beginning of the second season of DLC characters for the Granblue fighting game, for both Playstation 4 and PC via Steam. Belial is available for digital purchase separately on both Granblue Fantasy Versus platforms at $6.99. The Character Pass 2 DLC bundle is available for $34.99 and will give access to six new fighters as they are released.
Belial’s handsome appearance belies his true nature – that of an irreverent, cunning fighter who rightfully earns his nickname, “Serpent.” His main goal appears to be little more than sowing chaos throughout the Sky Realm, though to what end no one can say for certain. However, the Singularities of Gran and Djeeta have attracted his attention, and with it the possibility for endless amusement. Watching the two captains struggle to restore order to the world gives him a visceral thrill, motivating him to spread more and more discord and provoke direct confrontations.
Somewhat hilariously enough, Belial’s launch day saw fans apparently crashing the Playstation Network and cases of the game not recognizing the DLC were also reported. In the mean time, Cagliostro is set for a late October release, with one more character set to release this 2020 late December.
