NetEase Games‘ western-themed multiplayer online FPS for VR game titled Stay Silent had just announced a major version update introducing new gameplay as well as a surprise sale on Steam.
Stay Silent Overview
Step into a Wild West town in the aftermath of an alien incursion as the players will become the sheriff of an American town in the Wild West of the 1880s. Fight against stealthy bandits and brutal aliens on dark, silent nights using traditional firearms and powerful alien weapons.
Online Battle Mode
In this new version of Stay Silent, players can play in the new 1V1 or 2V2 online battles. Players will need to win 3 games out of 5 to win the battle. In a game which has been limited to 5 minutes per round, two teams take turns to play the predator and defender in a duel.
The goal of the predator is to occupy 2 energy pillars that are on the map, while the goal of the defender is to prevent the energy pillars from being occupied before the end of the time. Players can also win by defeat the opposing faction.
The two sides remain invisible to each other during the battle and need to utilize the props and skills configured to find their opponent’s trace and use firearms to defeat their counterpart.
