SWC2020 APAC prelims begin [ Summoners War ]

With the conclusion of the Summoners War SWC2020 prelims for Japan, Americas, and Korea, the SWC2020 Southeast Asia & Australia (APAC) qualifiers will officially kick-off this weekend. Eight players representing their countries are divided into four pairs of matches as follows.

Glancing at the matches, it is somewhat both strange and thrilling at the same time when two of them pairs are the rivals between four players of the same nationality. The first match is a confrontation between two Vietnamese players, however, while XERE takes on the heavy responsibility to bring glory to his homeland, DOLPHINBUFF will be representing Australia, the country in which he is residing. Meanwhile, the second pair is an internal battle between two players from Thailand, HONGKFC and O2LOVEO. The remaining two pairs are KROMZ (Thailand) vs FENRIR (Singapore), and JINYAO (Malaysia) vs DILIGENT (Australia).

This year, Com2us will apply a new competition regulation for SWC2020 APAC prelims in which an advancing ticket will officially go to the player who wins the final match on Day 1. The remaining ticket will be decided on the second match day with a group consisting of 4 players who have lost on first matches round of Day 1 and the player who was defeated on the final match of Day 1.

SWC2020 – Southeast Asia & Australia prelims will take place at 13:00, September 12th-13th (SGT), and it will be broadcasted on Summoners War esports Youtube channel.
