Hololive ENG Announcement and Debut Dates

Hololive Production also known as Hololive is an agency of Virtual YouTubers which are created by Cover Cop and just recently, the agency had just announced an ENG branch of Virtual YouTubers alongside each of their debut dates.

With the recent traction of popularity coming from fans from the West, it was inevitable that the company would want to tap into the Western Market and thus, the English branch was created.

While this is definitely a big shock for most fans, it wasn’t the first time that hololive branched out from their usual Japanese audiences as there were also Chinese and Indonesian branches of the hololive virtual youtubers.

Character Debut

The English branch of Hololive Virtual Youtubers have a centralized theme based off Mythology.

• Mori Calliope 

Mori’s design is based off a grim reaper and has a big sharp scythe with her. She also seems to be wearing a veil.

• Takanashi Kiara

Takanashi’s design is based off a part-time warrior, part-time phoenix idol.

• Watson Amelia 

Watson, as you were to guessed, her design is based off a British detective trying to uncover the mysteries of these myths.

• Ninomae Ina’nis

Ninomae’s design at first glance may seem related to an underwater being, the “keywords” in the debut PV suggests that her design leans more towards Lovecraft cosmic horror.

• Gawr Gura

Gawr’s design is based off the descendant of an Atlantic creature with a trident in her hand.
