Project Sekai Colorful Stage had a recent livestream revealing a few updates, the biggest of which would be the Virtual Lives feature. There will also be a demo released ahead of the official launch on 30 September. The full livestream can be watched below:
As for the Virtual Live, this means that there will be concerts held in-game, and players can attend them with others in real time to cheer on their favourite performers. Tap on a ticket for the show you want to attend, and you can create or join private rooms as you wait for the show to begin. A maximum of 15 players can be in a “meetup area” at a time, and you can chat, perform actions or send stickers to the others.
To recreate the feeling of being at an actual concert, you can also purchase merchandise for your avatar to wear, glow sticks or even new actions. At the show proper, you can freely look around the venue in first person. Change your glow stick colour, use virtual items or stickers or perform an action like you might at an actual concert! Much thanks to VocaSphere for the breakdown.
Besides that, the demo edition of Project Sekai, dubbed “Rehearsal Edit”, will be made available to download on 3 September, and playable from 4 September at 12:00 PM (JST) to 11 September at 11:59 AM (JST). The demo will allow players to try out:
- Virtual Lives
- Play:
- Tell Your World
- HIBANA -Reloaded-
- Sweet Magic
That’s all for the latest Project Sekai updates! The game will launch 30 September, are you ready?
