Splinter Cell fans rejoice, as stealth icon Sam Fisher comes to Rainbow Six: Siege as part of Operation: Shadow Legacy.
Operation Shadow Legacy introduces Sam Fisher as an Attacker named Zero. He brings several new toys with him, including a gadget called the Argus Launcher. This two-way camera drill lets him see through walls, and comes with a single charge of a laser to attack defenders and their gadgets.
Sam also comes equipped with two unique weapons: The SC3000K and his melee weapon, the Karambit.
Ubisoft released a full breakdown of Zero on their YouTube channel:
Sam’s not coming alone though, as Operation: Shadow Legacy promises to rework the Chalet map. The rework includes improvements to the first and second floors, as well as making the roof traversable. Ubisoft says they’re focusing on Objectives with this rework, with a new hallway added for rotations in the Basement. They’ve also moved the Trophy Site objective for one in Dining.
Sam Fisher, as a stealth operative would, has been out of the limelight as of late. The last Splinter Cell game, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, was released in August 2013. More recently, he’s also appeared in Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, as part of the Deep State DLC.
